Celebrating our Agile Journey: Get Digital with Agile HR!

The topic of Agile is not new, and with our ongoing work on digital leadership and HR transformation, it made perfect sense for our teams at DecodeHR and Organize Agile to converge all three areas for this webinar ‘Get Digital with Agile HR’.

Being agile is about the approach but agile principles are a lot more impactful when they become a way of life – thinking, being, acting and embracing agile. When being agile is built into our DNA, we acknowledge that each one of us does not have perfect knowledge or answers – we start to welcome others to journey with us. When companies and leaders begin to allow themselves to recognize this premise, all of us will be able to make room for our teams to truly shine. This is how the 4 principles of Modern Agile support a paradigm shift – make people awesome; deliver value continuously; make safety a prerequisite; and experiment and learn rapidly.

Leaders, more than ever, need to choose to show up with a mindset of discovery, co-creation and partnership, particularly as we look to create and nurture a digital workforce. The discipline of HR has tremendous potential for its leaders to take the lead to help their organizations tap on the value of being agile. HR leaders, and all leaders for that matter, thus need to gain mastery of agile concepts, principles, and beyond that, capture the spirit of being agile.

This was the catalyst for our ‘Get Digital with Agile HR’ webinar, jointly developed by DecodeHR and Organize Agile, held on 18th June. The pandemic has shown that companies that do not sufficiently leverage technology will be impeded in their recovery. It is imperative for all of us to get truly digital. However, the approach to get digital should be human-centred and support the agility of the organisation in the long term. The world of Agile HR brings the best of tech and human agility together and helps us drive the necessary change as we enter the post-pandemic world.
