Our client is an MNC conglomerate that specialises in providing bespoke insurance planning and wealth management solutions to high net worth clients worldwide.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), Hong Kong, the Assistant Manager, Brand & Communications, Marketing will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer, Singapore, and all sales consultants to manage and execute a holistic communications and marketing portfolio for global stakeholders (with a focus on Singapore).
Job Summary
Manage 360-degree marketing, covering strategic events & sponsorships, CSR initiatives, branding & communications, website/online visibility, printed/digital collaterals, and brochure-ware development
Work closely with appointed PR agency, media, and publications regarding any public relations matters over tactical campaigns, including press releases, media backgrounder, infographics, contributed articles, etc.
Develop and maintain a marketing and relationship management strategy, oversee the development and implementation of partnership engagement opportunities with insurance companies and client seminars/events, foster relationships with insurance companies and banks, and implement tactical marketing programs to maximise effectiveness of Consultant’s penetration to enhance existing relationships and build new relationships to support business initiatives which include ongoing anniversary programs, loyalty programs, banker relationship programs, and team building
Manage marketing budget to ensure expenditure on marketing activities are within budgets allocated and deployed effectively to achieve desired business goals
Handle strategic initiatives, including the development and implementation and/or adaptation of projects for Singapore and Hong Kong, as part of the global marketing of projects/campaigns
Develop and evolve key relationships across all external channels, strategic partnerships, and co-marketing opportunities within KPIs
Formulate a wide range of company brochures, stationaries, marketing collaterals, sales kits, corporate gifts, corporate videos, etc. to maintain a healthy library of marketing materials
Key Responsibilities
Brand Management – create and develop plans to promote the brand through events, forms, brochure-ware, collaterals, corporate gifts, online, print advertising, and brand integrity
Marketing Budgets and Processes – manage the marketing budgets to ensure expense KPIs are measured through client event ROI
Events and Sponsorship – plan strategic & tactical events that achieve objectives within full year budgets
Client Program Management – handle client onboarding, service experience, and engagement of existing policyholders with upsell programs
Corporate Communications
Develop intellectual capital across business units for use in publications, client investment seminars and business pillars, and internal communications platform under appropriate regulatory rules
Execute and deliver original content for relevant, timely and interesting messaging for digital target audience
Personal Development
Learn the Company’s world, be curious, and network beyond the community
Attain a strong understanding of the global value proposition and of all referral partners
Develop strong knowledge and understanding of insurance solutions provided to clients of referral partner
Be aware of competitor offerings
Administrative Tasks
Track, monitor, control, and document all marketing, branding and communications activities on referral parties
Prepare a written strategic plan for all Tier 1 referral parties and update it as market conditions change
Ensure the effective use of systems, working practices and methods through adherence to the Group's and various procedures
Ensure all marketing and communications processes comply with the Group's and local, procedures and external regulations
Support other objectives/tasks as may be required from time to time by senior management
Others
Handle day-to-day management of marketing work streams and corporate communications
Support Sales Team with a cohesive and efficient marketing strategy
Develop key initiatives, events, and marketing actions
Work with all teams to bring innovation and become a global player in this business

Key Requirements
Fresh marketing graduates or candidates with 1-2 years of relevant work experience will be considered
Experience in the hospitality or financial industry experience will be a plus
Must be a self-starter who can effectively direct own activities toward the achievement of objectives, and includes goal setting, decision making, planning, scheduling, time management, task tracking, self-evaluation, and self-development
Must be good with people and resourceful
Required to travel to Asia for events coordination
Working proficiency in Mandarin preferred to facilitate liaison with business offices in Hong Kong/China
