The Role

The Firm is looking for a Software Engineer Manager, Embedded, OS to be a part of its world-class team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage engineers and help them develop their careers, assigning them to projects tailored to their skill levels, long-term skill development, personalities, and work styles

  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional hardware and software engineering teams

  • Champion engineering and operational excellence, establishing metrics and processes for regular assessment and improvement

  • Set clear expectations and create a positive work environment based on accountability in collaboration with the engineering and management teams

  • Work closely with dedicated recruiting staff to expand the team, including sourcing candidates, interviewing candidates, participating in conferences/events, and onboarding new employees

Key Requirements

  • 5+ years of work experience architecting, developing, and launching software products and/or services

  • 5+ years of experience managing and growing software engineers

  • Experience in handling priorities and collaborating across an organisational environment

  • Experience delivering applications or system frameworks

  • Experience with NVIDIA Jetson platforms

  • Experience in Windows, Linux, and MAC

  • Experience with embedded processor architecture and boot mechanism, interrupt priorities, and configuring peripherals

  • Experience with software design and programming in C/C++

  • Experience with hardware debugging, clock-level issues, bridges, delays, interrupts clock gating, polling, power consumption, etc.

  • Experience with embedded DSP and CPU architectures
