Launched in 2011, it has since amassed millions of users who come together each day to chat, interact, and create their own entertainment.

The Role

The Firm is looking for a Risk and Compliance Manager to be a part of its team. In this role, you will be assessing and identifying potential entity and operational risks and evaluating them to ensure that they are appropriately mitigated through properly implemented policies, procedures, training, systems, and controls.

This is a 6-month contract role with work from home arrangement.

Key Deliverables:

  • Entity Risk Assessment and Risk Registers

  • Gap Analysis - Risk Control Matrix

  • Process and Controls Documentation

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement an overall risk management process for the company

  • Perform a risk assessment by analysing current risks and identifying potential risks that are affecting the company

  • Perform risk reporting that is tailored to the relevant audience and educate the leadership team about the most significant risks to the business; ensuring business heads understand the risks that might affect their departments and individuals understand their own accountability for individual risks

  • Create risk register and plan to track and address risks

  • Perform process, controls, and gaps analysis at the functional process level

  • Document policies and procedures

Key Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience with minimum 2 years in external auditor, internal audit, or as a business process owner

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or ACCA

  • Knowledge of process mapping and internal control risk assessment are required

  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, including dealing with colleagues from all different levels and management team

  • An effective team player who is self-driven, able to work independently within a fast-paced environment manage ambiguity

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in multicultural workplace

  • Strong written communication

  • Good knowledge and understanding of ERP systems (including Oracle, Salesforce, Netsuite and Coupa) is a plus

  • Experience in using Microsoft Visio will be an advantage
