The Role

As the Project Manager, you are responsible for driving the organisation transformation as well as high visibility and high impact projects for the organisation. You will report to the CEO and work closely with the Head of Department on the assigned project. This is a 6-month contract position, with the possibility of renewal.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work in a time-sensitive environment on multiple deliverables simultaneously

  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to plan, manage, execute and deliver project KPIs

  • Provide robust and comprehensive tracking, oversight and reporting

  • Develop and deliver strong communications in various formats to a variety of audiences, including liaison with other departments

  • Set up, prepare all relevant meeting materials, documentation and follow-up

  • Monitor budgets, milestones, deliverables, reporting and completion

  • Contribute to the setting up and optimization of the department’s operations and workflow and re-training and onboarding existing staff to the new processes / systems, etc.

Competencies

  • A team player, with experience working with a high degree of independence in a time-sensitive environment

  • Excellent skills in areas of coordination between multiple parties and multi-tasking with a track record in project completion

  • A meticulous eye for detail and confidence working with numbers

  • Skilled at PowerPoint and Excel; experience with project management software will be advantageous

Key Requirements

  • A degree from an accredited university, with minimum 6 years of work experience, of which 2-3 years in major projects, market research or agencies

  • Certification in project management or project managing a sales department will be advantageous

  • Exceptionally organised, diplomatic and discreet

  • Experience with research and budgets management

  • Demonstrated ability to understand the relationship between project operations and work flow to project strategy and goals

  • Familiarity with the philanthropic or non-profit sector would be a plus. Please do apply if you bring strong skills from the business sector and are interested in the social sector
