Our client is a leading Asian network services operator with coverage to more than 180 countries currently and growing.

The Role

As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for new Sales Acquisition and Account Management activities from Singapore. The key deliverables required of you are new account and business acquisition, accurate pipeline management, revenue and margin generation, consistent sales presentations, account and territory management, and ensuring successful execution of sales and business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and acquire new customers for new business acquisition target

  • Expand and grow sales revenue with existing customers

  • Develop executive-level relationships and sales engagement strategy with customers

  • Conduct presentations and training to different levels in a customer organisation to achieve EMS (educating, marketing, and selling) of the Firm’s services portfolio

  • Manage and track in detail your sales engagement efforts, initiatives, and results

  • Actively search for opportunities to participate in bid management, and provide quoting responses to customers’ requests for proposals (RFPs)

  • Provide sales pipeline reporting and sales engagement analysis to follow up and devise winning strategies to achieve sales target

  • Harmonise and work closely with other internal departments like Technical, Commercial, Finance, and Operations to achieve overall customer satisfaction

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 3-8 years of Sales and Account Management experience

  • Good understanding of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) market, public and private networks will be an advantage

  • Leadership skills, plus a good team player

  • Self-driven individual with a proven record of meeting targets and goals

  • Good communicator and a natural aptitude for dealing with people

  • Strong networking skills with demonstrated ability to generate new businesses with new prospects and new customers

  • Demonstrated ability to find creative solutions and to learn new technologies quickly

  • Strong analytical skills and able to collate and interpret data

  • Ability to work under pressure and to produce good quality work

  • A mature attitude and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • English proficiency is a must; a second or third language is an added advantage
