PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT

Nobody does anything and becomes an expert on Day One, so it's about trying to get that 1% each day. Make little changes in your health, no matter what you're doing - whether it's with your finances, mental health, physical health. Do a little bit each day because it can take three weeks to start a habit, but about 90 days for it to actually stick with you and become a part of your lifestyle!

 

TAKE CARE OF THE BIG PICTURE

If you're going to the gym every day, and you're eating only fast food or sleeping just three hours a night, chances are you may not be very healthy. Health comprises many pillars, so it's better to hit about 80% in each pillar, rather than 101% in one and zero in the others because you need to find a good balance.

 

GO THE EXTRA MILE TO REACH OUT

Engagement is important, people need people. One tip I would give that I have heard often from different people, is that while we may feel shy reaching out to new colleagues or strangers because we are afraid of what they might think, we should just go ahead. The other person may be thinking the same thing! So when it comes to meeting people, creating friends, fostering teamwork and engagement, just go for it. You won’t be disappointed.
