What are the challenges of attracting and retaining top talent in today’s modern workforce? 

This pressing question was at the heart of a recent seminar in Taipei jointly organised by DecodeHR and MayoHR, which offers holistic cloud-based HR solutions. 

Hosted at MayoHR’s office, the session addressed the challenges of talent management in a rapidly changing environment, shaped by evolving employee expectations.

Our Business Development Manager in Taiwan, Karan Lin, shared strategies for enhancing talent management practices. She highlighted the importance of developing a compelling Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and how it needs to include competitive rewards, career growth opportunities, and the organisation’s core qualities like its market position, ethics, social responsibility, and commitment to diversity and inclusion

Karan emphasised that the work environment also plays a crucial role in talent acquisition and talent retention, delving into factors such as meritocracy and camaraderie.

我們台灣業務開發經理Karan Lin分享人才管理實務操作的致勝策略,她進一步強調關鍵在於,打造出員工搶著要的「員工價值主張」(EVP)。這項主張除了涵蓋具競爭力的獎酬制度、職涯發展機會,也應體現企業的核心特質,例如市場地位、企業道德、社會責任,以及對多元共融的承諾。

另外她還談到,要吸引、留住人才,工作環境扮演的角色至關重大,層層探究其中用人唯才、團隊凝聚力等關鍵因素。

 
 
 
 

Our Director, Evelyn Chow, drew from her extensive experience, sharing practical and real-world examples of attracting and retaining top talent in today’s competitive landscape. Increasingly the workforce includes gig workers and project specialists.

She engaged with the audience, answering various questions, including those about the challenges faced by start-ups and SMEs as they work to shape compelling company cultures. 


Evelyn also stressed the advantages of a Total Rewards Strategy. She underscored how a balanced approach to compensation and an engaging workplace environment can inspire motivation.
